Barcino
Well, Dave and I set out to find the Barcino Route... When you really have no idea what you are looking for, it makes for an interesting search.
I, mistakingly as it turns out, thought that the route was throughout some old streets in the Gothic Quarter, marked with plaques along the way.... Like a Camino trail. Not even close. Dave abandoned me midsearch and returned to the hotel, getting food along the way.
I finally asked the right person and was directed to the correct part of the Museu d'Historia de Barcelona.
It was worth the hunt (and it was free day at the MUHBA)
I returned to the hotel for a rest, shower, and free coffee and snacks (5:00 - 7:00).
We rested until 8:00pm then set out from Placa D'Espanya. We were planning on dinner at La Lolis, but do was everyone else in Barcelona.
We ended up getting fed at a suitable place, then strolled to see the fireworks (and yes there was a little tension over where to eat).
