September 23: Travel Day from Porto to Barcelona

Travel Day

Dave and I explored more of Porto, but stayed close to the hotel because our shuttle to the airport was leaving from there.

We slept in and then, around 9:30, headed down for a lovely breakfast (included with the room)

We decided to walk to the 

Jardim Botânico do Porto (Porto Botanical Gardens).

I must confess that I was disappointed. The gardens were overgrown and ill kept. Perhaps they were under renovations as is the University of Porto Museum of Natural History and Science (MHNC-UP).

We arrived at the Hotel Villa Emilia. Lovely place.
